Job Description:
As a Part-Time Dog Walker/Pet Sitter, you will play a vital role in maintaining the well-being of our clients' pets.
Your experience will be highly valued as you interact with animals, ensuring their safety, health, and happiness.
You will be responsible for providing tailored care to each pet's unique needs, offering exercise, companionship, and attention during your visits.
Responsibilities:
Engage with dogs and other pets in a compassionate and professional manner.
Provide daily walks and playtime for dogs of various breeds and sizes.
Administer any necessary medications or treatments under the guidance of pet owners.
Monitor pets for any signs of distress, illness, or behavioral changes.
Communicate effectively with pet owners, providing updates and peace of mind.
Ensure each pet's environment is clean, safe, and comfortable.
Follow specific care instructions as provided by pet owners.
Maintain accurate records of visits and activities.
Requirements:
Prior professional veterinary experience is preferred Must have a valid driver's license and access to a reliable car.
A genuine love for animals and a strong commitment to their well-being.
Ability to work independently and responsibly with minimal supervision.
Excellent communication skills, both with pets and their owners.
Flexible schedule to accommodate various visit times, including weekends and holidays.
Ability to work overnights, visits, and walks You should have another source of income as this job does not guarantee any hours and is meant to be supplemental income
