Princeton Tool, a Princeton Precision Group Company is currently seeking an experienced Wax Room Manager to join our team.
The Wax Area Manager is responsible for managing the activities, established procedures, and approved processes of the wax assembly and wax injection areas.
The Wax Area Manager will ensure all safety, quality, and productivity requirements are met in the most cost-effective manner.
Highlights and Benefits Paid time off Quarterly profit sharing bonus 401(k) with company match Paid holidays Excellent health and wellness options including traditional copay and HSA compatible plans Tuition / professional development reimbursement Limitless opportunities to grow and advance Manage multiple shifts for both areas of the wax business unit Manage wax processes and functions by delegation to shift leads and or supervisors Maintain a safe, injury free work environment, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company safety policies Ensure good housekeeping practices are consistently followed Provide employee coaching and development Resolve employee issues through conflict resolution Maintain awareness of policies and procedures ensuring compliance by direct reports Complete performance reviews for all direct reports in a timely manner providing necessary feedback to employees regarding their performance Recommend pay adjustments, transfers, promotions, discipline, and terminations in accordance with company policies and procedures while following state and federal laws Maintain adequate staffing to meet required production schedules Control and communicate weekly staffing schedule for the wax department Interview and recommend needed staff for hire Train and develop supervisory staff to manage assigned operations safely and effectively Develop, train, and involve employees in maintaining and improving departmental safety, efficiency, productivity, quality, cooperation, and morale Maintain adherence to process control procedures, operating instructions, and all quality control instructions Plan, organize, and supervise wax department operations in accordance with production schedule requirements in the most cost-effective manner Leads annual budgeting process for the wax department Manage performance measures for the wax department Ensure through-put and target costs are attained, and budget criteria is met As appropriate recommend capital equipment purchases with cost qualifications Knowledge, skills, and abilities Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities Bachelor's degree in business or engineering related curriculum or 5
years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience and responsibility 3
years of management experience required 5
years of investment casting wax process experience required or a minimum of 7 years in another area of progressive manufacturing leadership Ability and willingness to easily adapt to changing situations and priorities Must be highly organized and self-motivated Ability to effectively work independently and in a collaborative team environment Ability to lead individuals and get results through excellent verbal and written communication skills Knowledge and ability to operate and utilize PC software including, but not limited to Microsoft Excel, financial, inventory, and production planning applications Demonstrated ability to develop, execute and deliver results in conformance with action plans Ability and willingness to work weekends and / or overtime as required PI226495441 Recommended Skills Adaptability Communication Conflict Resolution Coordinating Finance Leadership Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
