Job Description:
Apollo Beach Therapy Center is looking for a dynamic pediatric SLP to complete assessment and treatment based on evidence-based practices, and maintain all documentation via electronic medical record software.
Our practice is in a unique setting located at the Apollo Beach Racquet and Fitness Club, a 7-acre facility with indoor and outdoor play spaces, a pool, and natural spaces to treat and cotreat patients.
The facility hosts a preschool program an after-school and summer camp (150
kids) and an autism spectrum-focused home school group as well as clients from the community.
Therapists will have flexible schedules, paid time for writing evaluations, and free training for aquatic therapy (optional).
We are currently offering OT and have clients lined up for speech therapy.
Therapists will be able to co-treat with OT and utilize a variety of treatment spaces.
This position will start out as 1099 contract and then shift to W2 once a full-time caseload has been established.
After 6 months, Therapist will receive $1 per hour raise and pay structure to be renegociated once full time case load is established.
We are looking for a long term hire to invest in.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
Provide treatment to children, adolescents, and adults with speech and language deficits.
Maintain accurate patient records in a timely manner.
Maintain an active clinical caseload by seeing patients within the allotted time frame.
Maintain professional relationships with parents by providing quality treatment to their children, adolescents, and adults.
Collaborate with other members of the practice team as needed to provide quality treatment to all patients.
Maintain confidentiality at all times when working with patients.
Provide supervision over other therapists when necessary.
Complete monthly reports on patient progress.
Complete monthly assessments on patient progress.
